SABUDANA KICHADI

Hey foodies, here i bring you another tempting recipe which can be had in fasts as well.

Ingredients :

Sabudana - 1cup soaked
Groundnuts - 2 tbsp
Potatoes - 1 big
Green chillies - 2 pcs
Coriander leaves - 2-3 tsp
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Aseofitida - a pinch
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp
Coriander powder - 1tsp
Salt - as need
Tomatoes - 1 cup finely chopped.

Instruction :

Soak sabudana for 2-4 hrs in very less water.. just immersed.



Heat oil in kadai and roast groundnuts till brown.


Now remove and keep aside.

In same oil now temper it with jeera, mustard, curry leaves with hing and green chillies.


Now add Aloo and saute it for a while and sprinkle some water and cook for 2-3 mins with lid covered.


Once cooked, add chopped tomatoes and spices to it.



Now mix roasted groundnuts, sabudana and coriander leaves and still it well for even mix.




Tasty sabudana kichdi ready..!!!

Notes:

1. You can use boiled potatoes also for faster cooking.

2. You can use grinded roasted nuts.

3. Any veggies can be added to the kichadi making more healthy.

4. Use very less oil as it leaves too much.
