Tangy Mango Rice

Hey foodies.. Hope you all had a great weekend.. I am back with yummy tangy recipe which can be  made in jiff or in hurry. 


Ingredients

Raw mango - 1 cup grated
Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp
Salt - as needed
Rice - 1 cup cooked
Oil - 2 tblsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 2 tsp
Channa dal - 2 tsp
Peanuts - 1 tblsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Green Chillies - 5
Curry leaves - 1 sprig 
Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leave - for garnish



Method

Wash n grate the raw mango finely. 



Heat pan with oil and temper with jeera, mustard, then add hing, then add gram dal n peanuts n roast it to brown.







 Once done add the grated mango and spice powders n cook for a minute.





Finally add the cooled cooked rice n stir well n garnish with coriander leaves.



Serve hot as such or with any papads.
