Stove-top Veg Pizza

Hey foodies.. Have a lovely weekend by making some yummy delicacies for yu and your family.. Here comes another one.. Everyone's favourite and it's oven less..

Stove top Veg Pizza

Ingredients

Maida - 3 cup
Active dry Yeast - 2 tbsp
Milk - 1/2 cup
Water - 1/2 cup (approx.)
Olive oil - 1/4 cup
Salt - to taste
Sugar - 2 1/2 tsp
Mozzarella cheese grated - 1 1/2 cup
Veggies - baby corn, sweet corn n broccoli steamed.. tomato, color capsicum, olives, jalapeƱo, paneer- As needed, chopped
Pasta sauce - 4 tblsp
Oil - for greasing

Method

Heat water to luke warm, dissolve sugar in it and add yeast to it and keep covered until frothy.

In a big bowl, mix flour, salt and seasoning.

Once the yeast is proofed, add this to flour with milk and olive oil.

Now make a smooth dough and keep aside covered with a cling wrap in a warm place for a hour or until it is doubled.

Meanwhile chop the veggies n keep the grated cheeze ready.

Once the dough is proofed, take the dough n knead again smoothly in a well floured surface, roll out into thick pizza (dust the surface generously if sticky)..

Take a heavy pan skillet n grease some oil on it and heat it for 2 mins.

Place the pizza in pan when its super hot and prick the pizza base with fork evenly n let it cook until light browned from one side.

Once done, flip over and spread pasta sauce and top it with veggies n cheese n seasoning on it.

Bake for 4 - 5 minutes in cover cooked pan until the cheese melts and pizza turns golden in colour.

Pizza should move freely in the pan, with which you can check if its cooked perfectly.

Notes :

1. Water should be just luke warm or it may kill the yeast.

2. Can be made with 50-50 maida n wheat flour.

3. Topping of your desire.

4. If baking in oven bake at 200°c for 10-15 mins.

5. I used store bought pizza sauce, you can even use tomato sauce if you don't have it.

6. With this measure I made 3 regular pizzas, i even made one small baby pizza.

Make yourself some and enjoy it.
